2StreetSammies is a veteran- and family-owned food truck serving up Philly-style sandwiches since 2017.

After being in the air force, Nate was inspired by just how terrible food was in the service, so when he got out, he pursued work in the food industry. That’s when he linked up with Chef Peter McAndrews and they launched – and he became the managing partner of – award-winning chainlet Paesano’s Philly Style, which hosted Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, Guy Fieri, and others. After that, almost a decade ago, Nate went on his own with a hot dog cart to bring delicious food to folks across the Del Val.

Eight years later, 2Street has had the honor of being a featured truck at 93.3’s WMMR Preston & Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger and the station’s Tough Mudder, as well as a mainstay at annual events throughout the tri-state area. He is also a recent winner of the 2025 Philly Inquirer Philly Favorites competition for best food truck.
